Clay Paky HY B-Eye K25 wash, beam and effects fixture
Clay Paky HY B-Eye K25 combines an RGBW LED array with zoom and a rotating front lens. The manufacturer identifies 37 RGBW 40 W LEDs and a 4–60° zoom range. It is a moving head with wash, beam and kaleidoscopic-effects functions, rather than a conventional wash-only fixture.
The HY K25 is distinct from the earlier A.leda B-Eye K20 and from the separately named K25 TEATRO version. Use the exact HY K25 reference for the fixture personality and technical comparison.
A visible emitter array and a projected field
The fixture can be considered both as a source illuminating a surface and as a visible element in the rig. Individual control of the LEDs lets the programmer build patterns across the face. The rotating front lens changes the relationship of the emitted beams, giving another form of movement without requiring a pan or tilt sweep.
A design centered on broad colored illumination may place different demands on programming from a design that treats the face as visual content. Zoom, pixel control and lens movement should therefore be chosen for the intended result. More simultaneous effects are not automatically a clearer composition.
Color and control workflow
RGBW control, color-temperature settings and electronic dimming are documented parts of the HY B-Eye K25 platform. Those functions address different parts of a cue: color choice, white-light treatment and level. An operator can plan them separately or combine them in a deliberate transition.
The official product page provides the reference for modes and model details. Select the mode that exposes the required level of effects and pixel control, and keep it aligned with the console patch. TEATRO-specific claims and optional equipment should not be applied to the standard HY K25 without identifying that configuration.
Condition and unit price
