Martin Audio DX0.4 is a two-input, four-output loudspeaker controller. It brings routing, equalisation, delay, crossover filtering and limiting together in a compact rack processor. Its assignable input-to-output matrix allows both input signals to be routed according to the requirements of the system.

The DX0.4 has balanced XLR audio connections, front-panel editing and mute controls, and a USB computer interface. Martin Audio specifies ten EQ bands on each input and eight on each output, with a range of filter types. Its four-output architecture is the main distinction from the six-output DX0.6, so the models should remain separate listings.

DX0.4: four destinations and deliberate processing

The DX0.4 offers two analogue inputs and four outputs. That arrangement can be assessed against the number of processed destinations the sound system actually needs. It should not be confused with the six-output layout of the related DX0.5 or DX0.6.

Input gate, EQ and delay facilities address different signal-treatment questions. At the outputs, crossover filtering and dual-stage limiting provide tools for the connected loudspeaker system. Correct settings depend on the actual equipment and deployment, rather than on the presence of a processor alone.

The 32 user presets support repeatable configuration storage. A useful workflow identifies the purpose of each saved setup and retains an appropriate backup. The memory count is a model feature; it does not establish that any particular tuning or loudspeaker preset is supplied or suitable for a new installation.
