Martin Audio DX0.6
Martin Audio DX0.6 is a two-input, six-output loudspeaker management processor. It provides a routing matrix between its analogue inputs and outputs, allowing the output paths to be arranged for a particular sound system. Equalisation, delay, crossover filtering and limiting form part of its processing facilities.
The DX0.6 uses balanced XLR audio connections, a front-panel display and direct mute controls. USB provides a local computer connection, with Ethernet or RS485 networking options documented by Martin Audio. The six-output format distinguishes it from the four-output DX0.4, while the DX0.5 is a separate older model with its own processing specification.
Model overview
- Two analogue inputs and six analogue outputs.

DX0.6: routing and loudspeaker-system division
The DX0.6 provides two analogue inputs and six outputs, giving the system designer separate destinations for processed signals. The output count is distinct from the number of loudspeakers in a system: one processor output may feed an amplifier circuit or another supported destination, and the complete signal path determines the deployment.
Crossover filters divide the signal into appropriate frequency regions, while equalization, delay and routing address different parts of system setup. A delay adjustment is a timing decision; it is not a substitute for choosing the correct physical coverage. Equalization likewise needs a defined purpose rather than an arbitrary preset copied from another installation.
The documented program and peak limiting provide separate forms of level management. Their settings must follow the requirements of the connected equipment. A processor’s available protection tools do not by themselves establish that any saved configuration is correct for a new system.
The 32 user presets support storage of configurations. Keep an intentional naming and backup routine when preparing several deployments, and distinguish the model’s memory capacity from any specific presets represented as supplied. The named product here is the DX0.6 processor, not a complete tuned PA.
