JBL MAX 26-LA
JBL MAX 26-LA powered line array
JBL MAX 26-LA is the powered two-way line-array model in JBL Professional’s MAX loudspeaker family. The complete model designation is confirmed for this stock. Its line-array format distinguishes it from the point-source loudspeakers and subwoofer in the same MAX range.
Powered loudspeaker workflow
An active loudspeaker combines amplification with its loudspeaker enclosure. Planning the system therefore includes both an audio-signal path and the required electrical supply at the cabinet position. A line-level feed and a loudspeaker-level amplifier output perform different jobs; the correct cabinet documentation determines the connection arrangement.
Choosing a line-array format
An array is designed as a group of elements serving a defined audience area. Cabinet count alone does not establish the final coverage. Position, height, aiming and the interaction with the venue are part of the system design. A practical purchase decision starts with the intended audience geometry and the complete cabinet model, then considers the processing and deployment equipment required for that design.
Matching an existing system
The confirmed MAX 26-LA name provides a useful starting point when adding stock to a MAX installation or rental inventory. Match the complete hardware designation and connection arrangement before combining cabinets. The model’s array format does not establish that separate mounting parts, array frames or connection cables accompany the used units.
