Powerful Dual 18-Inch Bass Performance

The RCF SUB 8008-AS features two high-power 18-inch woofers with 4-inch voice coils, designed to reproduce powerful low frequencies for demanding professional applications.

Its dual-driver configuration helps deliver the bass energy needed for live music, electronic music, DJs and large-scale performances. Whether you are reinforcing kick drums, bass guitars or electronic bass, the SUB 8008-AS is designed to provide a strong low-frequency foundation for a properly configured PA system.

High-Power Integrated Amplification

The RCF SUB 8008-AS incorporates a Class-D amplification system rated at 4,400 W peak. Its active design combines amplification and signal processing in the cabinet, simplifying system integration without requiring a separate external amplifier for the subwoofer.

With a maximum sound pressure level of up to 137 dB, this subwoofer is designed for high-output sound reinforcement where strong, controlled bass is essential.

Deep, Defined Low Frequencies

The RCF SUB 8008-AS offers a specified frequency response of 30 Hz to 120 Hz. This low-frequency range makes it suitable for reinforcing the bass content of music and providing impact in professional live sound systems.

Selectable crossover settings help integrate the subwoofer with compatible full-range speakers or line array systems. Additional controls include polarity switching, Deep/Punch selection, output delay adjustment and cardioid processing options.

When configured correctly, these functions help audio engineers adapt the system to the venue, speaker arrangement and desired bass response.

Designed for Concerts, Festivals and Touring

The RCF SUB 8008-AS is built for professional environments where high output and durable construction are important. Its plywood cabinet, steel grille and scratch-resistant polyurea coating are intended for the demands of repeated use and transportation.

This makes it suitable for:

• Live concerts and music festivals
• Touring sound reinforcement
• Outdoor events and open-air performances
• Clubs and DJ sound systems
• Corporate events and large venues
• Professional PA rental companies
• Sound production and event management businesses

For larger systems, multiple SUB 8008-AS units can be deployed together, subject to the required system design, configuration and available power connections.

Professional System Integration

The SUB 8008-AS is designed to work as the low-frequency section of a professional sound system. Its selectable crossover settings and signal-processing controls help users integrate it with suitable main speakers and line array modules.

For the best results, system designers should match the subwoofer configuration to the main loudspeakers, audience area and acoustic requirements of the venue. Cardioid presets can also support directional bass configurations when the required number of units and correct setup are used.

Durable Construction for Professional Use

Professional subwoofers must handle frequent transport, setup and operation. The RCF SUB 8008-AS features a rugged plywood enclosure, protective steel grille, side handles and M20 mounting hardware.

Its dimensions are approximately 1180 mm wide, 550 mm high and 700 mm deep, with a listed weight of around 80 kg. Transport planning and appropriate handling equipment are recommended due to its size and weight.

Why Choose the RCF SUB 8008-AS?
