DBX 480

DBX 480

DBX 480 is the legacy 480 model listed in the manufacturer’s discontinued-product catalogue. The model number is not shorthand for 4800: dbx maintains separate records for 480, DriveRack 4800 and DriveRack 4820.

The manufacturer’s 480 entry provides model-specific documentation and DriveWare-related software downloads. Those records are the appropriate starting point for this older unit. Specifications from the newer 4800 generation are not applied here, and the listing does not promise a control computer, stored loudspeaker tuning, software installation or accessory package.

Model overview

• Manufacturer lists 480 as a discontinued product.
• 480 is distinct from the newer DriveRack 4800.
