DAS Audio Event M210A
DAS Audio Event M210A is a powered stage monitor using a pair of 10-inch drivers and a separate high-frequency compression driver. DAS describes the twin-band low/mid arrangement and an M-60 high-frequency driver on an aluminium waveguide. The cabinet is shaped for stage-monitor use.
The manufacturer’s detailed specification gives 60-degree horizontal coverage and asymmetric vertical coverage of 20 degrees upward and 30 degrees downward. A three-channel Class D amplifier supplies the driver sections, and XLR signal connections are provided. The EVENT-M210A exists in voltage-specific versions; the inventory does not establish which version is offered, so no mains-voltage suffix has been added.
Model overview
- Dual 10-inch stage-monitor design.
- M-60 compression driver and asymmetric waveguide.
- 60° horizontal, 20° up/30° down vertical coverage.
- DAS lists 132 dB maximum peak SPL at one metre.
EVENT M210A: a monitor pattern for the performer
A stage monitor is selected for the listening area around the performer, rather than for broad audience coverage. The EVENT M210A’s documented asymmetric vertical pattern is relevant to that job: its upward and downward coverage figures are deliberately different.
The dual-10-inch arrangement and separate high-frequency driver describe the monitor’s construction. Evaluate that construction with the required placement and listening distance instead of judging the monitor only by a maximum-output number. The actual stage position and mix content remain part of the result.
The manufacturer’s page identifies voltage-specific variants. The supplied inventory does not, so no -115 or -230 suffix is added. A system plan should use the exact physical label, while the listing retains the common model name given by the seller.
